The Seeley Swan Valley in Western Montana offers just about every kind of outdoor recreation you can imagine. With the variety of activities available at the resort and surrounding areas, you’ll be able to take advantage of as many as you wish…from a leisurely stroll to whitewater rafting on the beautiful Blackfoot River to enjoying 18 holes on the challenging Double Arrow Golf Course.
Double Arrow Resort opens a gateway for hiking Montana. The trail to Morrell Falls is our most popular hike for guests of all levels of experience. Many of our guests take day trips to Glacier National Park where the hiking Montana trails are extraordinary.
Winter Activities
Winter activities include, montana snowmobiling, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and horse drawn sleigh rides. Prefer lift-served skiing? Ski Montana at Big Mountain Resort, one of the country’s finest downhill ski resorts.
The cross country skiing trails become fabulous mountain biking trails during the summer season. The trail to Morrell Falls is also an enjoyable biking trail. Glacier National Park provides an awesome opportunity for hard core cyclists.
Montana River Rafting & Horseback Riding
Montana river rafting is available on the nearby Blackfoot River early in the season. Late season Montana river rafting may require a drive to the Clark Fork or Flathead valleys. The Seeley Swan Valley is home to a chain of lakes. Boat rentals are available. Horseback riding is available daily on site offering a scenic view of the valley.
There is no shortage of areas for wildlife viewing and bird watching.
It all depends on the time of year and the pace you want to set during your Double Arrow vacation getaway.
