At an elevation of 5,506 feet Beech Mountain is the highest incorporated town east of the Rockies. The Town has a full Beech Mountain skiingtime population of about 290, but the population swells to as high as 12,000 during the winter and 6,000 in the summer. People flock to Beech Mountain in the winter to ski at SkiBeech and in the summer to take advantage of the mild climate and numerous recreational opportunities. Even though there are only about 290 full time residents on Beech Mountain, there are approximately 2,000 dwelling units on the mountain. Beech Mountain has become a popular location for vacation and 2nd homes for many people from North Carolina to Florida.

Also on the first floor are the dining room and a living room, equipped with a Gas log fireplace inside each unit. Second floor has 1 bath and 3 bedrooms all with queen beds. We have a DSL hookup in our Recreation Building. We are ONLY a half mile from SkiBeech entrance and most restaurants. indoor tennis and basketball court, a fully equipped gym.
