Bluegreen Resorts markets, manages and sells the Bluegreen Vacation Club?, a points-based system that enables owners to customize their vacation experience through the purchase of Vacation Points that can be redeemed for stays at Bluegreen Vacation Club resorts or for other travel options such as cruises.
These Vacation Points are supported by an underlying vacation ownership interest in a Bluegreen Vacation Club resort held in trust for the benefit of the owner.
With the Bluegreen Vacation Club, an owner's Vacation Points are good for a variety of vacation adventures ?not just fixed weeks at a fixed resort location. Owners choose the resort, the season, the number of days and the type of accommodations. They have the flexibility to choose when and where to vacation each year, subject to availability and the number of Vacation Points that a member holds.
Owners may enjoy a vacation for themselves; rent their vacation to someone else; borrow Vacation Points from the next year for use in the current year; or save Vacation Points from the current year for use in the following year.
